So, have you seen that company that sells only one dress? They designed this dress and then they have it made up in different Ankara fabrics. The dress is supposed to flatter any figure. The fabrics are beautiful. (You know how I feel about Ankara) but I'm not so sure about the dress. I am intrigued, though about this idea of finding something that works for you and then riffing off it. I have decided to search out the perfect dress pattern and make it fit me perfectly, then riff on it. Here's a link to the just one dress folks, Zuri. Watch this space for updates on my quest. Myrna by Seamwork, I have made two of these. It is a bit labor intensive but beautiful. It's a retro look, though which might be a little too specific.
